Certification

The requirements for become a certificate member of APAAT are:

– Be company, association or foundation legally constituted and that all members participating in the section on animal-assisted therapy, legally associated
– Being members of the Association
– Passing the exam of APAAT

EXAM

In the examen we will consider:

– The treatment of animals performing the work of animal co–therapist
– Well trained animals by a qualified and recognized trainer by the relevant authorities in each country
– The animals have all veterinary checks and insurance
– Have passed a test of character evaluated by a veterinarian
– Institutions, associations and foundations must be legally constituted and to have a multidisciplinary team consisting of: psychologist and / or therapist, and qualified and recognized trainer
– Customer care
– Infraestructures (if available)
